So my goal last week was to prioritize. And my priority last week was to spend time with family and friends. I decided to take my work on the road with me and head back to my home province of Saskatchewan for a few days.
True to my goal, I only fulfilled necessary client work and volunteer obligations and spent the rest of my time enjoying the company of people I haven’t seen in a long time. So the blog is taking a hit this week. I’m heading back to Calgary today and the blog needs to fall by the wayside due to time restrictions.
The idea of not posting a blog used to fill me with anxiety and dread. “But what about my readers?” I would think. “I’m going to lose all credibility. People will stop reading.”
Seriously? Get a grip.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. And if you took some time off, I hope it was guilt-free.
Look at that – guess I wrote a blog after all.
Namaste 🙂

This week’s goal: Approach your work like it’s your first day.
Song of the week: “It Gets Old to Be Alone” – The Wooden Sky. Definitely not a feel-good song, but I love these guys!
Saskatoon!
Sometimes simply living means simply resting by doing what you enjoy, glad you made time for yourself, and see, life was right here when you got back…

I like this ‘slacking’ post. Time off with family and friends is can never be replaced.
