Freelancing and Fitness

Every morning before I start working, I check out the latest blogs on Freelance Folder: This site has been a gold mine of information, and I highly recommend every freelancer, regardless of specialty, check it out! I recently read a post by fitness expert Scott Tousignant:

His advice is right on the money. It is so easy to let an entire day go by at the computer with only the occasional break (to walk to the snack cupboard), which does not bode well for fitness goals. In October, however, I started doing yoga, and it has literally changed my life. After a good yoga session, my mind, body, and emotions are refreshed, and I continue noticing the positive effects throughout the week. There’s also nothing like a quick run to clear the mind. Running isn’t for everyone, but a speed-walk will produce the same results.

It’s far too easy to neglect personal well-being when you’re stressed about work, but I believe nothing is more beneficial for your business than being in kick-a** physical condition.

That being said, I’m going to head out for a run while the weather is still nice! Cheers!
