Freelancing to Freedom

Hello all! So week 1 was a decent success. Put an ad out in FFWD, a local newspaper, sent a few query emails to local publications and received a couple of replies, and visited various entrepreneurship/freelance blogs. I want to continually educate myself about this business. The Editors Association of Canada has some great resources as well, so I’ll be checking those out this week. Tomorrow night I’m going to a coffee shop in Kensington to listen to student authors read their work, and I would love to meet with a couple afterwards. I’m also officially registering my business this week, which I’m very excited about! Life without ceilings! 🙂
