Professional, thorough, reliable – these are the words I live by as an editor! I have a deep respect for authors and understand the challenges of writing from personal experience.

I recently worked as a stylistic editor, copy editor, and proofreader for an educational publisher. The company specializes in supplementary material for the elementary and junior high market. My passion lies in copy editing fiction, and I am adamant about ensuring that the author’s voice is retained. I am always working to update my skills and welcome the challenge of material from different fields.

I have experience in structural and stylistic editing for academic papers, and have worked as a copy editor and proofreader for newspapers as well. Business is also an area of particular interest for me, especially corporate communications.

I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and will be finishing the Certificate in Publishing from Ryerson University in the next few months.
