I’m a freelance editor based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Effective communication is my passion. I work closely with my clients to gain an understanding of their writing style and vision for their work.

As an editor, nothing is more important to me than ensuring that a writer’s message is effectively heard and understood. As a writer myself, I understand the challenges writers face on a day-to-day basis and truly have their best interests at heart.

I have varied and extensive experience editing both fiction and non-fiction material. Over the past few months, I have edited autobiographies and memoirs, various works of adult and young-adult fiction, annual reports, local-interest non-fiction, corporate documents, and website content.

I am a board member of the Editors’ Association of Canada and the Calgary Association of Freelance Editors.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to as much music as I can get my hands on, reading the biographies of famous musicians, doing yoga, and drinking large vanilla lattes.
